It is fine then. Although, for other readers or your personal knowledge of "best practices": technically speaking, you should repoint your personal folders to the D:\ drive (that is why if you check the properties of "Documents", "Pictures", etc, they have a tab called "Location") and set your account permission so that you only have permission, but, meh whos counting. As long as its not C:\, and you are the only user, I would not worry. The issue is really C:\ root, due to the lack of assurance, as mentioned. That is all. In the case non-Windows environment, for those curious, a symbolic link should be applied for folders under home dir, and of course, once again, permission set properly.
