I didn’t purchase it initially, nor did I play it before. Recently I bought it for £14.99 and also acquired Control for £0.29p. Perhaps the low price contributed, as Cyberpunk has been quite enjoyable so far—no significant bugs reported and it looks great. Would I be upset if I’d paid the full cost? Possibly, but I didn’t, so it feels like a good deal of £15 overall.
Absolutely, the outcome mostly hinges on what people expect. CP2077 without any hype is a solid title. Nice, decent.
I purchased it at its full price when it launched. I had a lot of enjoyment using it, even though day one was quite rough and that actually added to the game's excitement.
It has faced challenges due to excessive marketing and insufficient detail, along with a rough early release. Many feel it doesn't meet expectations, and some simply dislike the CD Project Red brand, which adds to the hesitation.
Yeah, initial bugs were a big thing, so getting it now after many patches is much better. Also, the expectations of how open world and how much variety were grumbled about. If you're not expecting 1000% hype it's extremely enjoyable. I played it through at 1440p with my 6700xt, but now I'm getting a 3080 and can enjoy ray tracing as well, so it's time for another playthrough with the other gender and a different origin.
It's a fun experience when the game runs smoothly without issues.
Great setup! The performance is solid with 1440p resolution, ultra graphics, and DLSS enabled for quality.
I just purchased it at a discount too. I'm only a short distance away, but it feels great.
The entire experience was tough mainly because of the older PS4 and Xbox releases. Even if it had been next-gen, it would still have drawn criticism due to numerous bugs and missing features. People seemed to think it was the worst game ever made. On the other hand, I spent about 75 hours playing at launch and had a great time. The gaming community often lacks subtlety—either something is clearly perfect or it’s the worst they’ve ever encountered. It’s hard to say Cyberpunk sits anywhere in between... lol
