Hello, three days ago several games on my PC stopped working after just a few minutes of smooth play. I reached out to Microsoft tech support but didn’t get any help and didn’t try any extra troubleshooting methods. These games were installed via the Xbox app or Microsoft Store on my system with a Game Pass subscription, and they functioned well before. Steam and Epic Games also work perfectly. The Xbox app games that had been running for some time are still operating fine. Any further advanced steps not listed would be really helpful. Please note: hardware problems have been excluded. Steps tried: removed and reinstalled affected games (Hitman 3, Just Cause 4, Fallout 4), updated Xbox app, and gaming services repaired. Performed a clean Windows 11 install, booted into safe mode for file checks (SFC, DISM, restore points), tried clean booting, ran apps with both wired and wireless internet, rebooted the router, physically disassembled the PC to check cables, confirmed specs meet requirements, updated drivers, and reviewed Windows logs for errors (none found). I looked into your issue and found those two sites. They might clarify the problem and offer solutions. I’m not recommending installing Windows 10, as some users did. It’s unclear if you can delete certain Windows 11 updates. I’ve removed them on Windows 10 when it caused issues.
