Hey everyone,
Do you know any reliable and safe programs to track your PC's CPU temperature while gaming? I've set up a new system and need to keep an eye on it. Thanks!

Intel or AMD?
I used to prefer HWM, but sometimes it doesn't work well with Ryzen or Mobo. I switched to Core Temp for that. For GPU temperatures, I usually rely on Afterburner or check the task manager/performance section, since many modern GPUs report their temps there too.
I haven't tried finding a program that provides the same information for AMD builds as HWM does for Intel.

Are these tools generally reliable? You should only use them from their official sources and perform a hash comparison.

I used to prefer HWM, but sometimes it doesn't work well with Ryzen or Mobo. I began using Core Temp instead. For GPU temperatures, I usually rely on Afterburner, or I check the task manager/performance section, since many modern GPUs provide temperature data there too.
To be honest, I haven’t tried to find a tool that offers the same information for AMD builds as HWM does for Intel.

Thanks both for the reply. But I noticed something in the meantime: "speccy" seems pretty good.
