Consider placing this in the software or peripherals area of the forums. I'm unsure if a mechanical keyboard sound would interfere with your work. Are there any tools that mimic the mechanical keyboard noise via speakers?

If you're concerned about the noise, Cherry Brown switches aren't very clicky, but they still provide good feedback. I'm not sure if any program offers that feature.

Sure, the MX Blue is a good choice since it has that clicky feel. I’m curious about how noticeable the sound would be during long typing sessions.

I was thinking I could map sound to buttons on my keyboard but I don't know how effective that would be. Someone should come up with a software solution for this. From the predictive search on Google, it looks like lots of people are looking for a program that does just as I want it to.

If you've ever seen a typewriter, you'll know typing feels quick and silent, with those mechanical clicks. That's why I don't get too concerned about it.

I've observed it once and attempted it, though I haven't used it all day.

I frequently use a Cherry MX Blue keyboard and enjoy the clicking sound. After some time, you adapt to it, which acts as a clear sign that a button has been pressed.
