Task Manager displays misleading data. Screenshots from Easy Tune show the CPU 5900X with a precise 3599.08 MHZ. Try alternative programs. Options include QuickCpu and Cpu-Z, which offer detailed core management and validation. HWInfo64 provides comprehensive system readings.

Task manager has its limitations, but it accurately shows a single core boost frequency. The processor starts at the default settings and increases to match thermal capacity. Frequent higher-frequency boosts might give a misleading hot signal. Pay attention mainly to peak temperatures, especially when the throttle reaches 90°C.
