Processor reduces speed upon launching several game windows simultaneously
It's not just about how fast the processor is. The Intel in your laptop offers better performance on a per-core basis compared to your 8350. The 8350 tends to be weaker for gaming, particularly under heavy demands. Consider switching to an Intel i7 if you need more of your game running smoothly.
Thank you for contributing to this group. While examining my laptop with a quad-core setup versus my desktop with an 8-core processor (both in turbo boost), I observed notable improvements in performance and frame rate when running my MU online game with up to three windows open. However, once I opened more than three windows simultaneously, the 8-core system began throttling after about a minute. The CPU temperature stayed within a comfortable range of 40-48°C.
However, I discovered a method to bypass the throttling and maintain smoother gameplay even when opening more than three windows for the MU online game. This approach reduces CPU usage and keeps temperatures lower. Perhaps removing the brightness effects on character items will help me avoid upgrading to an Intel i7, as it performs better in video editing compared to my laptop and PC. The AMD option (for PC) is significantly faster for rendering and video editing tasks.
The change to an i7 will likely improve performance. The issue might be due to the previous hardware not meeting expectations.
