Starting three copies of a game increases its demand for CPU resources to run them, while throttling causes it to operate slower rather than boosting CPU activity

It depends on your system's requirements. You may need a higher wattage power supply if the CPU demands more power, but check your specifications first.

It implies that running multiple windows of any application can slow down a PC.

It seems your N55sf laptop isn't showing any issues even when you run multiple game windows. This could be due to the software or settings you're using. Try checking if there are any background processes or resource limits affecting it.

And many of my MU gamers friends aren't having the same experience. Two of my friends launch six windows of the online game and still don't get the same results. This makes me question something.

Have you observed the impact of CPU activity as you increase the number of open windows from one to two, then three? It seems your system handles less efficiently with more windows. Also, keep an eye on RAM consumption during multiple sessions. Monitoring RAM usage can provide further insights.

I observe the changes in CPU activity when opening one to three windows. Hmm, if my 8-core processor isn't strong enough, which one is better than it? Also, does my 32GB RAM not suffice? If that's the case, how can my N55SF Asus laptop manage five windows without lag, given it has only four cores and eight GB of RAM?

Mistaken about RAM, the pagefile could still be incomplete. Ultimately, performance depends on game optimization. If the game fully utilizes all eight cores, you should be okay. However, it appears the game only uses the first core and throttles it. Which processor is this laptop running?

I verify all eight main CPUs are active and not idle. The laptop runs an Intel Core i7-2630QM quad-core processor (2.0GHz base, up to 2.9GHz boost, 6MB cache, 45W TDP). This explains why it manages five windows smoothly without lag. My AMD FX8350 8-core CPU struggles with three windows only. Given the laptop’s much higher specs, this is quite surprising.

Was die Last gleichmäßig auf alle Kerne verteilt und ist der Laptop insgesamt leistungsstärker als andere Modelle? Neben vier Kernen und vier Threads verfügt er auch über Turbo-Funktion.
