Hey everyone, I've noticed my CPU is running at 800MHz and the temperature is below 30°C on a 10850K, XTU is warning about thermal throttling at 30°C. I've tried manual overclocking, adjusted registry settings, changed C-states, and disabled speedstep, but I'm still stuck. Anyone have any ideas on what might be going wrong?

I would look in your Windows Power Plan settings, under Advanced Power Settings, then Processor Power Management, and verify that the Maximum Processor State isn't above 100%.

I've attempted it; modifying registry entries in the editor to reset the BIOS, bypassing CMOS pins, and setting constant voltage power plans.

Use an extra SSD to set up Windows 10 for testing, this way you might fix the software issue with your existing version. Make sure to reset the CMOS one final time before attempting a new Windows 10 installation.
