Even though I acknowledge it, my memory isn't being utilized fully—it's not just 100% or 99%, but mostly my CPU is under strain and the disk reaches maximum capacity. However, when I turn off Superfetch, the disk pauses and returns to normal operation.
Consider a straightforward setup with reduced mouse sensitivity. It’s still advisable to add more RAM, as suggested by Bad5ector—4GB is insufficient. Also scan for malware to be safe. A modern backdoor might be a small file hiding somewhere and automatically re-downloads threats each time you reinstall the operating system.
I use Kaspersky AV (40€ per year) and Spybot S&D (free) for protection. Staying safe with reliable tools. My system remains clean over the years.
Check if your system is using the page file and observe any spikes. Could you display your current memory usage in Task Manager?
