I m currently using an i5 11400f cpu and rtx 2080 super. So what should i upgrade. i have 2 options currently:- 1st-Upgrade to i7 11700f and get a rtx 3070. 2nd- only get a rtx 3080. My budget is a little tight currently i can afford only one of the above two options. please someone clarify what should i do.

All in a row. Six cores are more than sufficient for typical gaming needs, so the additional two from the 11700F won’t be much use. Also, considering the used market prices for 11th generation CPUs (at least based on what I’ve seen), the more affordable choice seems likely.
