I own an extremely old laptop that I use regularly. It has an Intel i3 4005 processor and was designed to operate at around 1.7GHz, but now it's only running at 800MHZ. This issue started earlier after I accidentally pushed the charging port inside, causing poor contact with the charger pins. This time, I haven't done anything similar and it's still at 800MHZ. I've checked the motherboard, battery, and everything looks fine. Could it be related to the power switch? I cut my power cable a few years ago and have been using a shorting method to activate it. Thanks for your help.>>
