Following the BIOS update, power limits (PL1/PL2) are likely reset to their default values. Although the 13600KF reaches up to 5.1 GHz, this only works for one or two cores under optimal settings. When you observe 4.4–4.6 GHz during full load, it’s probably because of restricted power configurations or short turbo times. Review your BIOS for PL1/PL2 adjustments (e.g., PL1 = 200W, PL2 = 241W) and ensure your Windows power plan is set to High Performance. This should bring the boosting functionality back to normal.

The highest frequency is generally only possible with single-core tasks. On Intel's Ark page for the 13600KF, you can click the (?) next to Max Turbo Frequency to view details.

However, I recall my task manager still displaying 5.0/5.06 GHz on the CPU screen.
