Processor hits 95°C peaks, remains stable otherwise
The CPU is expected to get very hot, reaching temperatures between 80 and 95°C. Both the system and operating environments alert me about this issue. Even after restarting the computer a few times, the temperature stays around a comfortable 36°C. Running games or using software doesn’t seem to be the reason for the high heat. I’m mostly watching videos on YouTube or idling on the home screen, yet my CPU still gets very warm. I’ve replaced the thermal paste, cleaned the fans and cooler, adjusted some components and wires—I’m not sure if there’s anything else I should do. There doesn’t appear to be any obvious physical problems. I also updated the BIOS to the latest version. My main concern is whether the cooling system needs replacement, or if there might be a problem with the motherboard itself.
