Hello, Your system upgrade was successful but you're experiencing overheating during heavy tasks. The CPU temperature exceeds 80°C while the speed shows only 3.37GHz. It might be due to insufficient cooling or dust buildup. Check the cooler's condition and ensure it's properly seated. Also, verify the room temperature and airflow around the components.

Avoid performance gains during extreme heat; use a superior cooling solution or modify the threshold for thermal throttling.

Same quantity of heat pipes, varying fin density. I prefer the design of the first model but it has fewer fins. (Not too many) Both will outperform the standard cooler and match its performance. If only one fan is included, buy an extra one to improve airflow and reach cooler temps. Choose whichever suits you best. Edit: The second option seems to have two fans already.

Intel processors operate at their optimal performance until they reach the thermal throttling point, which occurs around 100°C. Exceeding 80°C may push temperatures higher, though it won’t immediately reduce speed. Upgrading cooling components can help maintain lower temperatures, but it won’t increase clock speed. Avoid unnecessary expenses on additional coolers; the specifications for the Core i5-4570 indicate a maximum multiplier of 34 when four cores are engaged. Ensure core C states are activated in the BIOS for proper operation.

You're welcome! It looks like you're curious about how multi-core boost affects performance and whether a heat sink helps both speed and longevity. The processor seems to be operating as expected based on normal behavior. A heat sink can improve cooling, which may enhance performance stability and extend the device's lifespan over time.

This means you can head outside to the Arctic while your CPU stays at 1 MHz. Just verify your C states are active in the BIOS to get the best performance from lighter loads. Your processor is operating safely within Intel’s temperature guidelines, ensuring longevity.
