Hey, I just started my old PC and noticed the GPU was spinning at full speed when I opened Windows. I tried using MSI Afterburner to adjust the fan speed manually, but it seemed stuck at zero RPM. Anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this?

If the display shows 0 rpm yet it's operating at full capacity, the system might not be detecting the fan speed correctly, preventing any adjustment. Consider checking for driver updates.

Thanks for the update. I attempted a complete reinstall of Windows and even tried using Linux, but nothing seems to work. Also, the fan only increases when drivers are installed—thank you again.
