Hey! From what you're experiencing, it sounds like your system is getting a lot more heat than usual while playing Sea of Thieves. That spike in temperature and fan activity isn't normal for your hardware, especially since you have a high-end PC. It might be worth checking the cooling system—like fans, heatsinks, or even the case vents. Also, ensure your software isn't running background processes that could strain it. If you're comfortable, you can try updating your drivers or checking for any recent changes in your game settings. Let me know if you want tips on diagnostics!

CPU model: I9 14900K GPU: 4080 Super MB: Asus rog maximus Z790 hero SSD: Samsung 990 Pro AIO: H150I ELITE LCD XT RAM: Vengeance DDR5 32GB. Everything seems fine, but it suddenly jumps to 40 and beyond—it’s really strange and it impacts my performance. I’ve tried clearing space, but nothing works.

Really, I'm struggling with this—it's just too complex.

We're setting up a Microsoft tool and going through certain steps, but handling the results can become a bit tricky. Someone might help by breaking it down more clearly for you. In the end, you'll need to figure out what's causing the problem.

Yeah, it looks like the original message is quite old. I’m having trouble finding the right details because of that. Got any idea what you’re looking for?

It was a brand new setup, so I didn’t consider doing it before, but I’ll give it another shot now
