Buddy of mines CPU has been consistently struggling with Helldivers, leading to crashes. He shared his temperatures, which I believe were around 80°C. After installing a Cooler Master cooler, the temperatures dropped significantly, though overheating remained an issue. It’s possible that prolonged overheating could harm the CPU or Windows, but it doesn’t seem to be a virus problem.

A 5700X should not be overheating, even with the AMD stock cooler, unless the cooler is badly installed or there is a lack of airflow into the computer case. It has a tdp of only 60W. If you check the cooler and it is correctly installed, try running the computer with the side panel off. That way, you'll see if the fans are spinning and it will make fresh air available. Good luck !
