I've been running a Ryzen 5 3600 for about four months without issues. Recently, some cores were stuck at lower speeds—around 533MHz or 1600MHz—which drastically reduced my gaming performance to just 30 FPS. After restarting the PC, everything returned to normal with all cores back at their full speed of 3600 MHz. I’m confident there’s no thermal throttling since temperatures checked out. Anyone know why this is happening? How can I fix it?

Ensure fast-boot options are turned off in Windows and BIOS settings; this should resolve the issue.

Verify if you're using a DisplayPort cable. The 20th pin problem can lead to issues like this. My concern was that the CPU overheated because the DP cable bug made the motherboard think the CPU temperature was -55°C, which prevents it from working properly and stops the AIO pump. Replacing the DP cable fixed the problem.

Use hwinfo to verify system details. Ensure you're not in power-saving mode. Reset BIOS to factory settings. Install chipset drivers and update BIOS.
