I've been working to boost my Ryzen's performance, but it's been tricky. I checked HWMonitor and noticed the CPU idling between 40-60, staying steady. I attempted underclocking, but it didn't help much. Adjusting the voltage down by 0.1 made a difference, though temperatures stayed the same. Further tweaks like 0.15 or negative values didn't work. It seems the chip runs around 1.4mV. When using AI Tweaker, it reported a value of 1.1. With my Lian Li Galahad 240 AIO and two Noctua fans, I'm wondering if my setup is off or if I'm missing something in the overclocking process.
Looks like it's a NZXT H510 model. The front panel is either open or mesh-style. Under load, I'm checking CPU and GPU temperatures—don't worry about idle temps. Also, have you applied PBO or OC settings?
The situation is actually an S340 model. The front panel includes mesh. Performing AIDA64 Extreme can push it to 100°C. I’m not sure what PBO/OC stands for.
Your cooler isn’t performing as expected. The 3900X model isn’t a high-temperature chip and shouldn’t exceed 80°C even under load in stock settings. You might want to reinstall or reapply the cooler, inspect the pump and fan curves. Also, I can’t determine the direction your fans are spinning—do you know if the front is intake and the rear is exhaust?
Bruh, that indicates every one of them is exhaust, so there’s nothing getting in. The stickers need to be on the inside of the Noctua fans and on the outside of the Lian Li fans. This way, all parts will have fresh air. Consider remounting and reapplying your cooler.
I've adjusted the fans correctly now and my temperatures have settled into a steady 38.8-39°C. It still feels quite high compared to my friend who uses a stock cooler, which is around 30°C or lower. I plan to switch the paste tomorrow. I also have an Arctic MX4 that's been in room temperature for a while—uncertain if it impacts performance, which is why I'm bringing it up.
It's possible your Galahad has debris in the pump. You should likely clean it out and install a quality air cooler.
