Someone else might notice the car adjusting itself during turns or drifting in the game. It seems to fix issues on its own, which can be frustrating. Is this unique to you? Are there ways to address this? Thanks!

The new need for speed? It handles like shit, cars take ages to full lock, it's easier to go fast than slow. Terrible game, oh and if I have shadow play running I fall through the map, constantly. Go to your car handling tuning and at the bottom there is drift assist, turn that off, should see an improvement, wish I hadn't of bought it though.

It's clear it's quite poor quality and requires significant improvements. The system needs better bug fixes and issue handling.

Absolutely, I share your concerns. That visual effect is really annoying for me, and it's one of the main reasons I'm not enjoying the game anymore. I recently updated to a speedlist version, but the handling still feels off.

They don't have a manual shift available, and it's unclear what Ea is aiming to achieve with NFS.

There are manual gears available. You need to turn them on during your car's adjustment process.

You might want to disable assists and test the setup. Adjust the steering toward the drifting area. It seems you're likely on a balanced or grip-focused setup. Vehicles behave smoothly during maximum drift tuning.

NFS hasn't delivered a strong experience compared to Carbon. Shift 2 isn't relevant because it was a track-based title.
