Hi, I understand the situation. You're looking to use moonlight over WiFi on your laptop while keeping a separate WiFi connection for regular browsing. You mentioned you can't connect directly to the router but are open to a direct Ethernet link between host and client. Also, you want to manage network settings so only one adapter handles moonlight and not your usual internet connection. Let me know if you need help setting that up!

It won't be a seamless experience even with a wired connection. Video playback and gaming will feel sluggish, resembling a slow PowerPoint slide show. Streaming via Steamlink might offer a slight improvement, but it will still lag. Overall, it's not a good recommendation.

For campaigns it seems fine if your internet speed can handle it, but for multiplayer games it’s going to be a nightmare

Sure, I understand. I focus on single-player experiences like Bioshock and Skyrim, and I’m happy to help with any issues related to your wireless mouse and network settings.
