Hi, I'm working on a Dell Inspiron 2 in 1 with KDE on MX Linux. It has an i7-1165G7 processor and 16GB RAM. I adjusted some xorg config files earlier to try resolving a trackpad problem, but it didn't fix it. Now, when I boot up, the screen flickers during SDDM display. The biggest concern is occasional spikes—about every five minutes—of 95% CPU usage from kwin_x11 with no apparent reason. My RAM doesn’t seem to be impacted. This is becoming really bothersome since this machine is for daily use at university, and the fan noise during lessons is distracting. Appreciate your help!
