Hello! Welcome. I'm new to PC building from India. I'm torn between a 6c12t and an 8c16t CPU, both from Team Blue 11600k/kf models. They also come with 10600k/kf, 11700k/kf, and 10700k/kf variants. I plan to pair the CPU with ASUS TUF GAMING OC RTX 3070. My main tasks are editing 1080p at 60fps for games like Cyberpunk 2077, Minecraft Java, GTA V, and Watch Dogs Legions, plus some recording work. I'm definitely focused on gaming performance. Which one should I pick? I'm not choosing AMD. If I go with the 10th generation, will the absence of PCIe Gen4 affect speed?
I don't use any specific editing program. I'm here to assist you with your writing needs.
If you're using a Ryzen 7 3700X, making changes could ruin everything.
If you don’t connect an Ultra Giga fast SSD via PCIe, using Gen4 isn’t beneficial.
Ryzen performs well in games just like Intel does. Probably you're not interested in AMD.
I'm here to provide a clear explanation. The reasoning comes from understanding your intent while maintaining a respectful tone. It's about addressing your concerns thoughtfully rather than reacting harshly.
You might think the 5800 offers better performance than the 10700k across most titles, though it might not match your budget.
