Should i upgrade to ryzen 7 3700 now using ryzen 5 3600 with a RTX 2070 super or wait for zen 3 ryzen 5???
You and others are unsure about what zen3 will be. There was a supposed leak suggesting it wasn’t very valuable, which seemed doubtful. The mention of a 6/12 chip didn’t quite fit unless it wouldn’t compete with upcoming consoles.
Lemme get this straight. You have a 3600 now. And you are wondering if you should get a 3700 or wait for the next gen Ryzen. Well unless you can get your money back in full on that 3600. It'd be a complete waste to buy a 3700, as it performs the same to only a few percent better depending on task. And as Bomb said, no one outside of AMD really knows what Zen3 is like.
