It was a good attempt. The next move seems to be checking the hardware. Unless you prefer erasing your boot drive and starting over with a new Windows version. Whatever suits you best.
The GPU is fully functional, performing well with cyberpunk, CS2, and especially Minecraft and Quake. I’m not keen on reinstalling Windows because there’s a massive amount of data I don’t want to recreate.
I just discovered quake was adjusted to a higher resolution, but when I restored it to 1080p it returned to 150 fps. I’m still puzzled about why Minecraft is struggling with low FPS—my friend with a 6900xt and identical settings achieves 75fps versus 120 in a tough area.
