I own a Gigabyte X570 Aorus Xtreme equipped with GSkill TridentZ Neo 2, 8 GB RAM at 3600 MHz. Although I don’t experience the same problem as others, I notice the XMP profile sometimes fails to apply and resets memory settings to 2133. The most recent BIOS update places RAM in slots 2 and 4. Could there be an issue with this RAM or the motherboard series?
I'm facing the same problem with my x570 Aorus Pro. The XMP profile is detected and it indicates the settings were applied, but they never take effect. I had to adjust clocks and timings manually so the RAM functions at its intended speed. Installing the audio drivers was another challenge—I repeatedly got stuck in a loop trying to uninstall old ones, yet my sound would occasionally work randomly without any clear success message. It seems there might be a generic driver installed instead of the official one from Microsoft, which makes it hard to confirm what I actually have. Without a definitive install confirmation, I'm hoping I'll get the features I paid for. Overall, I haven't been satisfied with the Gigabyte X570 MB.
This setup seems quite impressive in terms of performance, but it doesn’t match my expectations given the price. I’m hoping for a future update to resolve this issue. I’ll attempt to adjust the clocks and timings manually, as running my 3600 MHz memory at 2166 MHz would be problematic. Fingers crossed I won’t make any mistakes!
