I upgraded my PC with 64GB GSKILL DDR5 RAM and tried enabling XMP, but it caused a boot loop or just brought me back to BIOS. After looking into the issue, it looks like the problem might stem from having two 32GB kits instead of one 64GB kit. If you're aiming for around 5600 XMP speed without breaking the bank, there’s probably a simpler approach—just focus on optimizing settings or using a more affordable RAM configuration.

My device features a ROG Maximx Z690 Hero with BIOS version 1403. It includes 1403 x64 RAM powered by G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32GB DDR-5600 (F5-5600U3636C16GX2-TZ5RK) and an i9-12900k processor.

The RAM sticks are from a specific manufacturer, and the GSkill 5600 model is included in their supported list. This doesn't imply they won't work, just that they aren't officially supported. Make sure both sticks are placed in the correct slots, and refer to the listed compatible options for this RAM speed.

I’d check for the RAM in sockets 1 and 2, then look at the BIOS settings to determine if forcing XMP is possible, keeping in mind the motherboard may not actually support that configuration.

I think the main problem is that i got 2 ram kits, each 32gb.(4x 16gb) I did check them 3 times and yes they are correctly installed. Tryed to force Xmp multiple times.

I got the details wrong—believed you had two 32GB sticks instead of four 16GB. If you install just two in Slots 1 and 2, can you still apply the XMP profile? The board doesn’t allow four of those sticks in an XMP profile at that speed; only two are supported. You might need to adjust your RAM layout for that amount. For more info on compatible sticks and settings, check the link provided.
