Hey everyone, I've been having trouble restarting or shutting down my PC unless I press the shift key. I'm not sure what's causing this issue. Each time I try to restart or shut it down, it keeps asking me to log in to Windows 10.

It seems like you're expecting a return to the Windows 10 login page after a restart.

I believe the option leads directly to the login screen rather than performing a full restart.

I'm experiencing an issue where my system activates unexpectedly at night even after turning it off completely. The PC boots up from the login screen, illuminating everything with RGB lighting. I suspect Windows Update might be triggering this behavior, causing it to wake from sleep mode, but the shutdown option still leaves it active around 2 a.m. with lights on on the mouse, keyboard, and motherboard.

It halts all running applications, briefly powers down, and then restarts, which helps remove any existing processes and refreshes the system by clearing RAM and cache.
