You’re facing a common issue after a Windows corruption. Since you’re booting from a USB, ensure the installation media (like a DVD or USB drive) is properly inserted and recognized. Try using a known good Windows installation CD or USB to rule out corruption. If the problem persists, check your hardware connections and consider reinstalling Windows from a clean installation source.

Maybe it was your SSD that failed?

According to @manikyath, your SSD or HDD might be faulty. Check your BIOS for detected drives; if none appear, try disconnecting and reconnecting the device. Consider testing another port as well.

I encountered this problem usually in three ways. First, consider using fast storage drivers; if you can't locate one, try disabling the BIOS reset button. Second, your USB device might be using version 3.0—check for missing drivers or a faulty flash drive. You could switch to USB 2.0 or another type of stick. Third, as others suggested, test with bootble Linux over USB using tools like hdsentinel or similar apps to verify the SSD. Please let me know what you find.

The problem was resolved by switching to another USB device. It’s recommended to test with a different USB drive, use Windows Media Tool on another computer, and try a different USB port to confirm there are no hardware issues.
