Hey, I see you're dealing with some odd behavior on your Windows setup. It sounds like you've got a unique situation with your ArchLinux machine running smoothly for years, but now you're experiencing strange glitches while gaming. The reports you made in Valorant didn’t trigger any changes, yet the popups keep appearing after a few sessions. It might be related to how Windows handles certain applications or updates. Your microphone issues and audio interface problems could also point to driver conflicts or background processes interfering. Since your friends aren’t facing the same issues, it’s possible there’s a specific configuration or environment factor at play. You might want to check for recent updates, disable unnecessary programs, or consult Windows support for deeper diagnostics.

Based on what I found in your previous message, ArchLinux could use some improvements. Windows might offer more consistent updates without the hassle of searching for them. Good luck! Reminder: If you choose Windows, prepare a clean installation by deleting all partitions beforehand.

They're running on Windows. Certain titles work well there, while others cause issues for some users.

I'm sorry, I thought they were using a term I had never encountered before. It seems to refer to ArchLinux https://archlinux.org/. You've arrived at the site for Arch Linux, a minimal and adaptable Linux distribution that aims to keep things simple. Right now we offer official packages tailored for x86-64 systems. We enhance our official collections with a community-driven repository that expands in both size and quality daily. Our vibrant and supportive community brings together a wide variety of expertise and applications based on Arch. Take a look at our forums and mailing lists to get started. If you're curious, you can also explore our wiki for more information about Arch.

When in doubt about concepts like "ArchLinux," investigate first to ensure your guidance is accurate. Misunderstandings can lead to unintended harm or damage.

I believed I had completed some research. I visited the ArchLinux website and reviewed the homepage content. If I recall correctly, it doesn’t reference integrating ArchLinux with Windows anywhere. I regret that, as it may not satisfy those who feel compelled to criticize or mock others for seeking assistance. There’s no indication in my reply that I instructed anyone to take action. Probably, like many, I chose to overlook the post and avoid further effort, instead focusing on other tasks. It seems odd that the text below doesn’t mention Windows. https://archlinux.org/ You’ve arrived at the Arch Linux site, a lightweight and adaptable Linux distribution that aims to Keep It Simple. You don't have to apologize—it seems you were trying to cause some trouble. This was just advice for the future, and in your first post it didn’t appear you had done any research. I’m confused why you’d want to merge ArchLinux with Windows... ArchLinux is an operating system on its own, not a program like Chrome. It looks like you were trying to assist but ended up arguing without a real reason, as if I’d insulted your family. Now instead of helping, this thread turned into a debate about you. Thanks for clarifying, it was very helpful.

If you read the original post, you would have noticed that I was not the one that was trying to integrate Windows into ArchLinux. so I keep having some issues with windows and I don't have any idea why. There is always something weird that Windows is doing, I have a ArchLinux machine that is running since 4-5 years without any reinstalls and I'm very happy with it. Sadly I'm using this PC now for Gaming and I wouldn't say I like windows but lets say the User(me) is the issue. I thought I did do some research. I went to the ArchLinux website and read everything on the home page. If I remember right, it does not mention anywhere on that page about integrating ArchLinux into Windows. I made my apologies but obviously that is not good enough for some people that feel the need to condemn and ridicule others for trying to help.
