I've completed a full reset of my system after the major update. After everything was configured, I began adjusting the Start Menu tiles and encountered an issue. When I attempted to pin a program to a tile and relocate it, the Start Menu would freeze and close unexpectedly. Upon reopening it, the pinned tiles returned to their original positions. Additionally, during most boot sessions—about one-third of the time—I experienced a failure to respond to mouse clicks, requiring a restart to regain functionality. I ran the command "sfc /scannow" and used Microsoft's Start Menu Troubleshooter, but the problem continues. Should I need to reinstall Windows 10 again, or are there further steps I can take?

It seems there was an issue with data corruption somewhere. Alternatively, you might want to generate a new user account and verify from there. If successful, this could indicate a corrupted profile. If not, consider obtaining another copy of the installation ISO, as it may contain faulty information.

It seems like you're considering reinstalling the software with a new medium to prevent issues down the line.

I encountered a similar problem where moving pinned applications would reset the start menu. The solution involved these steps: first, set up a new user account, then upgrade it to an admin role, log in with that account, and finally remove the previous user.
