Hi everyone. I’m facing some Wi-Fi instability on my new PC. The motherboard is the Gigabyte B850 gaming X WIFI6, and it comes with an antenna plugged in. Despite that, I’m seeing high latency and slow speeds. I’ve checked forums, videos, and even used chatgpt, but nothing helps. I can’t play games, which is why I built this machine. I know the issue isn’t with the router or internet service, since my laptop still gets a solid connection. I’ll share the images attached for reference. For clarity, both the laptop and desktop antennas are in the same spot on my desk. Using an Ethernet cable would be perfect, but that’s not what I’m after. Everything else seems fine except this small problem, and I prefer wireless. I hope you can find a solution to this frustrating issue. Thanks! (Sorry for the English, I’m not fluent.)

Have you verified Gigabyte and Windows for any driver updates?

This was among the initial attempts I made. The bios are also refreshed now.

Are you using 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz or 6 GHz? 2.4 GHz is slower and more prone to interference. I’d consider switching to 5 GHz. 6 GHz has even less interference but shorter range and weaker penetration, so results could differ. Experiment with antenna positioning to find the best signal.
