Problems with USB on your motherboard
I just got a new nzxt n7 b550 motherboard in my working PC. The old one had internet problems, but that’s not the point. After installing it and running the farming simulator, my fans began revving and eventually stopped all USB devices. My mouse would shut down randomly before I could play. Any advice?
Power supply is too weak?... Your previous board experienced internet problems?.. That’s similar to claiming my vehicle has air issues.
It seems like there’s a lot of uncertainty here. Could be the board is failing, or the PSU is struggling. That makes it really unclear what the issue is—whether it’s the air it passes through, the air entering the engine to mix with fuel, or even the air in the tires. Not sure if this gives a clear answer.
I understand your point. The internet chip on the board was gradually failing, showing signs of slowing down over time. It seems the issue likely came from the board itself, as it had been functioning well before installation (except for the internet connection). Would you agree with that?
Are you referring to the network controller chip? It sounds like a virus. Have you ever tried reinstalling Windows? Controllers are often either nonfunctional or completely failed.
That is a good question. I did suspect I had a virus at one point due to some unknown files filling my ssd but I cleared that drive with a windows reinstall. After that the internet on it just got slower and slower till I couldn’t even pull up the modhub on farming simulator.
I owned a single 1TB NVMe SSD that was already three-quarters filled with games, applications, and other files.
