Problems with USB connections and devices.
I recently acquired an Asus X570-P motherboard and have faced random disconnections of both rear and front USB ports. I searched online and tried several solutions suggested by others, but nothing resolved the problem. I updated the BIOS and reinstalled Windows 10, yet my old ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4 model never experienced this issue. My current setup includes a Ryzen 5 3600X, an Asus X570-P with Corsair Vengence RGB Pro 16GB 3200Mhz GTX 1060, and a 6GB RAM module.
It powers off all connections immediately and restarts them right away.
They reconnect independently. No steps needed from you afterward. When it happens, do they still show up in the system as recognized devices or does there seem to be a brief interruption?
No changes made by me, just random activity then it resumes. If accurate, Windows also generates a disconnect and reconnect noise.
Certainly, just keep striking the cable with whatever you have.
I assumed my hub worked fine, but it turns out you can still connect the keyboard and mouse. If any port connection is weak, a small adjustment usually fixes it. I resolved the issue by placing a cable holder near it. Results vary.
