No issues reported. The installer worked fine on an AMD system for an Intel PC. Also, version 18.04 seems to be in question.

Consider adjusting the bootable USB and aligning it with the target system's configuration. Should freezing persist, test another USB drive.

I’d consider using UUI: https://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal-...-as-1-2-3/ It supports many distributions and lets you make an extra file for live boot storage, helping you retain your data after a restart.
