Problems with the Wi-Fi card (ASUS PCE-AC51)
You recently received an ASUS PCE-AC51 PCIe adapter card. You have a main router and a repeater set up, which helps improve your signal, but you're still experiencing weak connectivity in your room. The adapter isn't connecting to the repeater, even after reinstalling drivers or using tips from YouTube and Google. You mentioned it only works on 2.4GHz and suspect it might be a TP link device. What might be causing this issue?
I don’t get why I need to look at the manual. Everything seems fine with other devices, though I used a USB Wi-Fi adapter before switching to a PCIE card for a better connection. Now I can only reach the main router, not the repeater. I changed the frequency and channel, tried assigning a fixed IP, turned off security settings, but still can’t connect. Windows keeps saying it can’t connect to this network.
I'm sorry if I was not clear, repeater was there before and working fine. the asus adapter is the new in my network. I couldnot figure it out why is it not compatible with the repeater. I'm able to connect other networks main router, mobile hotspot...
