Over the past few weeks I've consistently encountered error -109 when trying to reach the store or my Steam profile. After switching to Ubuntu, I suspect this issue is related. I also noticed the same problem on my Steam website and a laptop running Windows 8. It seems like the same error persists across devices. Could be a recent update or maintenance change on Steam caused this. I can still log in via the desktop version and online sign-in, but I'm unsure if the network is the problem. Any suggestions?

It's intriguing. I just found a discussion on the steam-powered community, but it doesn't seem to assist the user in need. If I were you, I'd consider altering the passwords.

Unable to reach that website. It seems unlikely to be connected, as I can't access similar pages on other devices without being logged in.
