Hey there! I'm back and trying to fix a few problems with my HoloISO project. Some repositories and mirrors seem broken, and Pacman isn't working either. That's about it so far. If you have any tips, I'd really appreciate it. Also, if you're not familiar with Linux or the console, feel free to explain things in simpler terms—I'm here to help! Thanks!

Update depends on outside data feeds that sometimes can't reach us. I had to wait three days to fully refresh an old Suse Tumbleweed configuration (over eight months since last use) since not all updates were accessible. A quick retry in an hour or two could help once the sources become available again.

I checked after 48 hours and the problem persists. Can you clarify what's happening?

HoloISO isn't typically the best choice if you're after Pacman. It might work, but it's built very differently from what you need. SteamOS is meant for general use and only supports Flatpaks, while Nobara could be a better fit for a versatile distro that still focuses on gaming.

I really appreciate the experience on the Steam Deck. I'm working on a video about Holoiso and want to provide a thorough guide. The creator in the video discusses many similar problems and offers solutions, but they don't go into deep detail. I hope this helps move toward a more comprehensive resource. Thanks for your feedback!

It seems Holoiso 5.0 is now available, resolving most of my problems. I’ll install it and let me know what happens!

I recommend Nobara since it comes with a Steam Deck version, allowing you to mimic that player feel using a classic operating system while avoiding many restrictions.

It's really interesting, I should definitely look into it. It's funny how holoISO 5.0 resolves most of my problems, though I still need to explore further. Pacman works perfectly, and all repositories are properly configured. Now I just need to update my GPU drivers and make sure the fans run smoothly.
