I encountered several issues with my PC. It kept restarting instead of shutting down, which led me to disable Fast Start to avoid this. Over time, certain CPU and GPU loads caused unexpected restarts—stress tests like de CPU-Z triggered immediate shutdowns, while prime95 didn’t. Running CPU-intensive games such as Cities Skylines caused restarts, but League of Legends and other titles worked fine. Watching YouTube videos resulted in restarts precisely when the GPU fan began to spin up, though other GPU activities didn’t trigger this. Eventually, I faced strange boot problems with Windows 10, including loading and restarting repeatedly in the BIOS before the login screen. I attempted to format an SSD but faced USB boot issues during installation. Some components seemed to be the culprit, possibly the motherboard, CPU, or BIOS. The build appears to be centered around the main processor and graphics card.

I managed to start a USB and performed a fresh installation of Windows with the newest release. Once done, I encountered the same issues where the PC wouldn’t shut down and would restart immediately with fast startup turned on. Later, I reinstalled an older Windows 10 version and this time the problem disappeared. I believe around build 1903 there was an incompatibility with certain features or updates that caused this issue. I’m considering trying preview builds in the hope of resolving it and restarting when the update is available.
