Hello
If my questions seem too simple, I began overclocking a week ago and I’ve picked up a lot of information, though some terms and steps still feel quite complex.
1) Concerning BIOS reset: I clicked “reset to default optimized settings,” which I think resets the BIOS. Following that, I adjusted only voltage, multiplier, and enabled XMP, which increased my RAM speed to 3200mhz.
2) Regarding LLC, I’m not entirely sure what you mean by it—I assume it’s a setting under advanced voltage options in the BIOS?
I’m a bit worried because you started overclocking just a week ago, and a lot of the terminology might be confusing for me. Even if I follow the BIOS instructions directly, I might not fully grasp what I’m doing.
I recommend taking some time to research overclocking thoroughly before attempting it.
Start with these resources:
http://www.overclock.net/t/1570313/skyla...statistics
And compare with others who may have similar hardware here:
http://www.overclock.net/t/1568663/intel...wners-club
You’re completely right, and I considered it before.
I’ll reset everything back to default and read through it first.
In my BIOS, there’s only one option for default settings—“reset to default optimized settings.” I’m guessing that’s just the standard default?
One more question: should I keep XMP enabled while I’m not overclocking?
Thanks a lot for your help

You are completely right And I thought about it before.
I will reset and put everything on default and read before touching anything.
In my BIOS there is only one option for setting everything on default and it says “reset to default optimized settings” I am guessing that's just the normal default right?
One more question would you leave XMP profile enable while I am not overclocking?
Thanks a lot for the help
Yes and Yes. Ry
