Hi there! I own a setup with two G.SKILL Trident Z5 6000 modules (F5-6000U3636E16GX2-TZ5K) and a Z690 Aorus Ultra that has the following memory part numbers listed in its Memory Support List: F5-6000U3636E16GX2-TZ5RK. The BIOS version is F5, and I've also tried the F6a version. My CPU is an Intel 12700KF. When I enable the XMP profile in BIOS, Windows crashes during playback or web browsing. I confirmed the memory specs match but received no response from Gigabyte—they said both motherboard and RAM are certified for 6000MHz. They suggested it might be a processor issue not certified for those speeds. Could Intel or Gigabyte help resolve this? Is manual overclocking an option, or is it hopeless for me? Thanks!

Do you have a specific task that depends on memory speed reaching 6000MHz?

I'm not entirely sure. My main focus is editing videos. I decided to try it mainly to utilize the available RAM.

Consider keeping XMP active while adjusting the Dram frequency to values such as 5400 or 5600 manually.
