Hello everyone, I've recently encountered some problems with my wireless g733 headset and the HyperX QuadCast mic. With the headset, static noises started coming through and it would randomly emit loud TV static sounds, which really annoyed me. Eventually, after a while, the replacements also began to have similar issues. I decided to switch to wired earbuds and connect them to my HyperX QuadCast. When the connection worked, the audio through the earbuds sounded muffled and filled with static. At this point, I'm wondering if the issue lies with my PC or if it's related to my motherboard or power supply.

The first thing that comes to mind is that you have an improper ground somewhere but since the problem exists no matter what you're using for listening then that would most likely mean the problem is something that is common no matter what you're doing. The thing that is most common to no matter what you're doing is the PSU. Sorry, I appear to be ramblin on so what I'm trying to say is check the PSU first. Make sure the computer is plugged into the wall and that the wall socket has a proper ground connected to it.

I have it linked to a power strip with multiple devices connected, possibly the problem lies there. I’ll plug it into the wall and try again—will let you know how it goes.

It's possible your power strip lacks correct grounding. At this stage in the game, you might think the issue is either the strip isn't properly grounded or the wall isn't. In either case, you won't achieve proper grounding. Good luck!
