Problems with sound linked to specific games
I recently purchased a Dell prebuilt PC with an RTX 4090 and a 13th gen Intel processor. My audio issues started after buying it. I use the wh-1000xm5 for listening, which works fine until certain games are played. The sound gets compressed and isn’t affected by graphics-heavy titles like Halo MCC. I’ve tried various fixes online but haven’t found a consistent solution. Changing audio settings sometimes resolves the problem temporarily, though it usually returns after a few minutes. I’m not familiar with PC troubleshooting and don’t think Bluetooth is the issue, as I haven’t experienced this before on my Dell laptop.
It works well when I open the start menu. Once there, issues appear.
It turns on the microphone. When you activate the Bluetooth on windowz, the call quality instantly improves, but this is mainly due to Bluetooth's constraints and how Windows handled it.
Check if there are options to turn it off or adjust its settings.
It doesn't seem to work because the halo feature turns on the mic and speakers. The best option might be to turn off the microphone part of the headset completely in Windows through the sound settings, which could prevent any issues with profile changes.
