Essentially you're using a GTX 780 and your friend got a 770 recently. We've been experimenting with Shadowplay and ran into some issues. My issues: 1. Shadowplay runs slow at around 33% speed unless you use VLC media Player (not a big deal). 2. Audio quality is terrible—when opened with VLC it works fine, but the sound disappears completely. My friend's issue: He only has problems with his microphone; it sounds extremely poor, even though his mic is a high-quality Samson C01U. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hey there! No one had any idea. Also, sorry for the bump—we just really need some assistance.

I use Audacity or similar tools. It helps keep a separate audio track, letting you adjust levels for video and your spoken content. I also face the same issue with VLC—playback works fine, but editing feels tricky. In VLC I use Windows Media Player or Sony Vegas, and during editing I save recordings to another drive instead of the active one.

No surround sound system like 7.1 is being used during recording.
