I'm facing issues with scaling on my i3 4170 and R7 240. I want to play at 720p but my monitor is set to 1080p. Changed GPU scaling in AMD settings, but it didn't fix the problem. The issue appears only in Battlefield 3, Black Ops 2, and Warframe, where I need 768p or 720p resolution.

You seem to be encountering an unclear issue. Could you clarify what you need help with? Are you concerned about scaling, avoiding overscan, or something else?

Which connection you used? DVI, HDMI, or VGA (D-Sub)?

The game displays black bars due to your monitor's native resolution being higher than the desired setting. Adjust the game's resolution accordingly.

You also verified your monitor's configuration? Many models offer scaling features. Since I'm not comfortable with AMD's tools, follow the link provided: http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles...aling.aspx. Ensure you select "Scale to full panel size" to avoid black regions. Alternatively, choose "Maintain Aspect Ratio" for a cleaner appearance.

Thanks for your prompt reply. It seems the issue disappears at 769p and not at 720p, so it doesn't impact performance. Appreciate the clarification!
