Problems with Ryzen USB connections.
Problems with Ryzen USB connections.
Hello, I placed a pre-built order recently and noticed it was cheaper than buying components individually. (Parts List) PC Specialist worked fine until the device powered on; it took about two minutes to display any video feed and repeatedly reported a VGA issue each time I restarted. I followed standard troubleshooting steps. Additionally, I planned to reinstall Windows on the M2 I purchased separately, but when the Windows USB was connected, the power would switch on and off. The VGA problem also prevented me from accessing the BIOS, which would disappear for a few minutes before showing the Windows login screen. After researching, I found that Ryzen models often face USB power cycling challenges and there’s still no clear solution. PCS mentioned they’re aware of this concern and recommend updating to the latest BIOS. So my question is... Did I simply encounter an unexpected issue with this model, or is this a Ryzen-specific problem that might take time to resolve before I place another order?

I returned to my previous setup which required reinstalling Windows. Honestly, it now runs much more efficiently, so I’m okay with the wait. Not in a rush for a new PC, just taking it easy. Thanks!
