I bought a Ruckus R700 to improve my home Wi-Fi signal. I turned off the radios on my old TP-Link router and connected the new AP via a switch, keeping it as a router. I configured it with minimal settings—no VLANs or subnets. Switching the 5GHZ channel from 160 to 36 helped connect most devices, around fifty clients. Performance was solid, but my family’s iPhones can’t reach our HP Laser Jet M118dw printer via AirPrint. The printer is still on the same switch and claims AirPrint works online. I’ve reset the router, AP, printer, phones, and switched the printer to Wi-Fi several times. My third-gen Fire Stick also fails to find my Fire TV Recast, even though both are on the 5GHZ band. All other Fire Sticks connect fine. (Note: I strongly advise against getting a Recast or Fire TV. The link between them is unreliable without manual resets weekly, and deleting shows isn’t possible. This issue seems widespread.) Some people use voice commands to automate smart plugs for power cycles of the Recast.)

What width is your 5GHz channel setting? Which encryption method are you employing? Is the same network name (SSID) active as the one the AX50 transmitted? Have you installed the most recent updates for the R700 device?

AirPrint employs multicast, many access points block LAN traffic to WLAN multicast and broadcast by default since it may lead to performance problems. This usually stems from the time needed to transmit broadcast data to all WLAN devices. You should have a setting to permit multicast and broadcast traffic on your wireless device; I’m not sure about the Rukus R700 but I think it likely offers such controls.

80 mHz channel width available on the 5 gig radio. (160 mHz isn't supported for this device) WPA2 PSK with AES encryption, same SSID and security settings as the AX50's firmware version 9.8.0.203. This is the original firmware released in 2015.

@Falcon1986 Appreciate you noting the Wi-Fi SSID. Updating the Wi-Fi name resolved the issue, letting all my gadgets perform better post-upgrade. The fireboard instantly connected to the Recast on the network, and all iDevices now support AirPrint. Thought Amazon might store passwords linked to your Amazon account. Changing APs could disrupt devices that pull data from the SSID database. I’m considering resetting it, but I’ve already switched my 5GHz devices to the new name—sufficient for now.

Great news. It's a small detail that often gets overlooked, particularly when changing APs with slightly varied configurations compared to the old one. I faced a comparable problem while setting up UniFi at my parents' place. To keep their existing devices connected without interruption, I kept the same SSID. But I noticed the speeds were slower than expected on WiFi 6. So I had to manually clear all device connections and reconnect to the same SSID. It was a bit of work, but it resolved the issue!
