Here are my specifications to begin with...
MSI 970 Gaming
32g RAM 1600
AMD FX8320
RX480 8g GPU
Samsung EVO 850 240g
WD 1TB 7200RPM
My system has an OC Genie and is pushing my CPU to 4ghz, but I'm experiencing severe lag during any raids while playing. I believe the CPU is quite underpowered, and even at 4ghz it's causing major performance problems. Whenever I tweak settings to reach a 4.2 or 4.5 OC, my PC displays warnings from MSI or Windows. I've tried adjusting all minor settings without success. I'm currently seeing around 1-5 FPS during raids, which is really frustrating since I built this PC expecting top performance.

It's highly probable you'll encounter thermal throttling since you haven't specified a cooler, which is likely the stock one. Additionally, it might be unstable, which is why most users recommend overclocking manually instead of relying on software adjustments.
