I’m troubleshooting your setup. The screen flashing and mouse-only functionality suggest a display or driver issue. Since you don’t want to risk further damage, try updating your graphics drivers via Device Manager or using a known good version from the manufacturer. If that doesn’t work, consider booting into Safe Mode to isolate the problem.
Press Win + Ctrl + Shift + B to update the NVIDIA driver or Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager, locate Windows Explorer and terminate the process. Then select Run Task... and input explorer.exe to refresh it. Alternatively, use Ddu to reboot in safe mode and remove the NVIDIA driver.
Based on the DDU option you choose, you'll have to uninstall the chipset driver.
